You have to check out these four videos below. They are easily the coolest videos I’ve seen in awhile.
They were created by Playing For Change, a “multimedia movement created to inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music.” They traveled around the world with a mobile recording setup, and filmed different street artists performing the same songs, then mashed them up to create something I can only describe as remarkable and inspiring. I can even begin to explain how much these videos made me smile, especially Grandpa Elliott.
Learn more about what Playing for Change is all about. Also be sure to follow Playing For Change on Twitter for constant updates and new videos. Oh, but most importantly, be sure check out their work below. I seriously think I could watch these all day long. I hope they continue to produce more videos.
Stand By Me – Ben E. King
One Love – Bob Marley
Don’t Worry – Pierre Minetti
War / No More Trouble – Bob Marley
If these videos didn’t make you smile, then you’re just one cold-hearted bastard!

I think the whole thing is a bit self indulgent on the filmers side. Especially when bono comes on. I was actually sick a little bit.
