Night Run [Timelapse Videos]

I am a big fan of timelapse videos, and I recently found this one on Flickr. It is broken into two videos in order to meet Flickr’s 90 second time limit.

Apparently, this guy hooked up a camera on the railing of a boat that was traveling through the Houston Ship Channel, and set it to take a photo every six seconds. This is the result.

How to clean your room in 90 seconds [Timelapse]

Here’s another timelapse video I found on Flickr. I like this video because the guy spends more time on his laptop, then he does actually cleaning. That’s how I like to clean myself.

Cloud Gate in Chicago [Timelapse Video]

Just a few weeks ago, I got back from a trip to Chicago. While I was in town, of course, we did a bunch of site-seeing and one of the places we checked out was the ‘Silver Bean’ in Millennium Park, which is apparently called Cloud Gate. While browsing around on Flickr, I found this below timelapse video that somebody shot at Cloud Gate. It came out pretty good, in my opinion.

My Personal Photos of Cloud Gate

Below are a few photos I took while visiting Chicago. We went to Millennium Park to see Cloud Gate, and the best pictures of it are below. You can see more photos of my Chicago trip in this Flickr Set.

329 Hot-Air Balloons Taking Off [Timelapse Video]

This timelapse video was filmed at one of the largest hot-air balloon gatherings in the world. There was a total of 329 balloons lined up and they all took off within a few minutes of each other. This is supposedly a world record, but I’d imagine there have been other occasions where more than 329 balloons take off at the same time. If you know of any, please link me in the comments below. Either way, it looks beautiful!

One Year in 40 Seconds [Timelapse Video]

To create the timelapse video above, Eirik Solheim took a picture everyday from the same spot. At the end of the year, he streamed them all together to create a breathtaking video that truly captures the changing of the seasons.

You can learn more about how this timelapse video was created and edited by reading this post from Eirik Solheim. He also offers all the raw images and audio for download, in case watching it spurred a creative spark.

My Home Is My Castle [Timelapse Video]

My Home Is My Castle‘ Timelapse Video was created by Frisch Milch

In this timelapse video, a guy moves into a new apartment, and documents the first 3 weeks of moving and sorting. He takes over 2,800 shots and then stitched them all together to create this cool little timelapse video. It’s pretty cool to watch him build everything and arrange it inside the apartment. I’ve seen alot of timelapse videos, but this one takes on a pretty unique concept.
